The ancients cities of Ile Ife and Benin were agog over the weekend, when the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi Ojaja II and Benin princess (I’m not sure she is a princess o, but she looks like one) Wuraola Otiti got married. It was traditional wedding at Benin on Saturday, March 12, 2016, the groom was conspicously absent (as a king, he cannot prostrate for anybody any longer, except maybe for his mother, which cannot be in public), so powerful delegates were sent to represent him and bring home the new olori. Sunday, March 13th was for the thanksgiving and this took place in Ile-Ife.
As expected, there were several celebrities in attendance.
Happy married life, ehin iyawo ko ni mo eni o (amin).
